Mitchell-Lama
The HDC’s Preservation terms sheet offers fixed-rate, first-mortgage financing—either taxable or tax-exempt—to refinance and moderately rehabilitate existing properties within HDC’s portfolio. Within HDC’s Preservation program, HDC provides Mitchell-Lamas with loans to deliver capital repairs and ensure their affordability. Eligible projects must agree to a new, minimum 30-year regulatory agreement, extending affordability throughout the loan term.
